Remove Virus From Gaming Laptops

Remove virus from gaming laptops but the first check does your system really has any virus or not…

You may have a virus if you notice one of the following programming problems:

  • The output of slow machine (taking a long time to start up or open programs)
  • Stopping or restarting problems
  • Lack of files
  • Frequent device failures and/or messages of error
  • Unforeseen pop-ups
  • New apps (toolbars, etc.) appear without downloading
  • Overworked hard drive (the fan makes noises and tends to work hard if you don’t do much)
  • E-mails sent from your accounts independently
  • Lagging or forwarding of the browser
  • Antivirus or firewalls malfunctioning

If you think your computer has been infected, just start following the below steps.

1. ENTER INTO SAFE MODE

In Safe Mode, go to the Start Menu and restart your machine in Windows by forcing down your Shift key. Once the laptop reboots, pick ‘Trubloshoot’ from the Windows Recovery Screen. Then click ‘Restart’ to ‘Startup Settings.’

Pick the ‘Safe Mode’ feature when your device is restarted. Wi-Fi connectivity is blocked when entering Safe Mode.

2. DELETE THE TEMPORARY FILES

Go to the Start menu and look for Disk Cleanup when in Safe Mode. Scroll down the file list to uninstall and pick temporary files as the scan disc loads and then select OK. The removal of temporary files will speed up your anti-virus program. Moreover, a virus hidden in your temporary files can be deleted.

3. DOWNLOAD ANTI-VIRUS SOFTWARE

There are two types of anti-virus software:

  • Real-Time Scanner: scans for computer viruses in the background while using
  • On-Demand Scanner: the user initiates scans

It is crucial to have one of each installed on your gaming laptop. Downloading one of each anti-virus software form will increase the odds of success in identifying any computer virus.

4. RUN ANTI-VIRUS SOFTWARE

Run the scanner on request first. When this finishes, run the scanner in real-time. The majority of antivirus software removes computer viruses from the notebook hard drive immediately. Any application, however, can display the steps to manually delete the computer virus.

5.  RESTORE DAMAGED PROGRAMS

After the anti-virus scan is complete, you may need to reinstall any programs that were damaged by the computer virus. Follow the guidelines provided by your anti-virus software to indicate the programs that were affected.

TIPS FOR MAINTENANCE/ PREVENTION
